Setting up business in Canada can consume a lot of time and resources and it is critical that this process is planned and executed thoughtfully. The NBI Pre-Landing program is a 3-month intensive market readiness program for selected Indian tech startups who have demonstrated validation / traction in their existing market and are looking to expand into the Canadian and global markets.
The program is designed on the premise that each startup is unique and will require handholding to figure out the best landing place for their business and prepare them to set-up and grow their companies in Canada and globally. Every startup selected for the program shall be assigned a dedicated relationship manager from Zone Startups that will not only help in the founders understanding the Canadian landscape in depth, but also assist in engaging with a wide variety of Canadian stakeholders early on to assess true product-market fit. The stakeholders shall be drawn from our wide network of incubators, universities, governments, service providers, mentors, investors and potential partners and customers.
Given that this is a curated program, while an average duration of 3 months has been assumed, the actual duration of this phase for a startup shall range from 2 to 4 months. The end objective of the program is to ensure that, wherever possible, the startup is fully prepared for a soft landing in Canada.
